5 reasons why online bingo is so popular

Online Bingo was a relatively minor industry as recently as the year 2000. But their has been an explosion of popularity in the six years since. The world's growing familiarity with the internet is one explanation for the game's online proliferation. But there are several specific reasons why more people every year stay home from the bingo hall and play the game from the comfort of their own homes.

1. THE IMPROVEMENTS IN TECHNOLOGY: When interet Bingo first got started, the experience couldn't match what you found in the bingo hall. People preferred the sights and sounds of real world bingo to simply having a bingo number pop up on the screen.

The online experience has changed. These days, most sites have a voice actor to mimic the bingo callers you'll find in live action settings. These sites tend to have flashy graphics and sounds of the bingo hall, which are meant to enhance your experience. But what makes contemporary online bingo so entertaining is the various interactions with your fellow players.

2. THE CAMARADERIE: You might think playing online wouldn't be a social experience. Actually, it's quite the opposite. Online bingo sites have Chat Rooms which mimic the table talk found in bingo halls.

Most sites offer a variety of chat rooms. The choices are divided into specific subjects, from the state of bingo gaming to current events. If you prefer, you can enter age-specific chat rooms. Friendships can form with people you would never have met otherwise.

You can play bingo while chatting with players from all over the world. You can make friends from Japan, Hungary or Eritrea. I mention the last country, because I met a friend from there in an online Bingo hall. I'd never heard of such a country before.

The people you meet playing Bingo online are the type you'll meet in a live bingo parlour. They tend to be friendly and talkative and share a love of the laid-back bingo camaraderie.

On the rare occasion that isn't the case, chat rooms are moderated by employees of the online bingo sites. This assures that the bingo players stay in line.

3. THE CONVENIENCE: It might be hard to get to the bingo parlour these days, due to job, family or health considerations. Online bingo is convenient for those players who don't have the night in the week for live bingo games.

Online bingo rooms are open 24 hours per day. You can play for a quarter of an hour or all night long, depending on your gaming needs. If getting a babysitter is too much trouble, simply wait until the kids go to bed and go online. If the weather conditions are bad, stay at home and play on the computer.

4. THE COMFORTS OF HOME: If there is something about the local bingo parlour you don't like, just stay at home in your comfort zone. If you don't like cigarette smoke, that won't be a problem in your den or bed room. If you try to avoid places liquor is served, stay at home and away from temptation.

And, of course, if you want to play bingo, but don't want the hassle of a talkative neighbor, you can play in solitude. The online experience lets each person control his or her gaming preferences. You are master of the situation.

5. SELECTION: Online Bingo is a highly competitive business. There are literally hundreds of sites on the internet. They are competing for customers, so the online parlours are willing to give compensations and perks you won't get at your local bingo hall. So if you want to shop for the best deal in bingo, it is likely you will find that deal on the worldwide web and not down the street at the only bingo game in town.

Tax deductions for car donations

Donating a vehicle can be a great way to give to your favorite charity. The government will recognize your generosity with a special tax deduction, but certain requirements apply in realizing these tax breaks.

Policies regarding vehicle donations are not as straightforward as with other types of charitable contributions. The tax relief you can receive depends not only on the claimed value of your donation, but also on the way the charity uses the vehicle. For this reason, you may not know what your full tax deduction will be at the time that you make your donation. As of 2005, there have been changes to the statutes for tax deduction for vehicles donated to charitable trusts. If the stated value of the donated vehicle is more than $500, and if such vehicle is put up for sale by the charitable trust, then the taxpayer is limited to the gross profits from the transaction.

Taxpayers wishing to benefit from such a charitable donation need to keep the following points in mind:

Itemize Your Deductions

To take full advantage of the deductions available for your car donation, you need to itemize your deductions. Those who claim standard education are not able to benefit from this clause.

Estimate the Fair Market Value

Various factors must be considered in determining the value of your car. Refer to a used car guide for precise instructions to find your vehicle's value. Adjustments should be made depending on accessories, mileage and other indicators of its general condition.

Deduct the Fair Market Value

When making your claim, deduct the fair market value of the vehicle. This amount takes into consideration the condition of the donated vehicle. You may not claim the full value of the car.

Verify the Eligibility of the Organization

The charitable trust must qualify with the tax department in order for you to receive a tax benefit. A good place to find a complete list of recognized charities on with Publication 78, available online and in public libraries.

File the Charitable Contribution Deduction

When claiming a tax deduction for your vehicle donation, it is essential to keep good records. Be sure to keep and record all receipts and forms related to the car donation, and its fair market value.

If you've donated a vehicle and want to know if your contribution is tax deductible, contact the IRS at 1-800-829-1040, or for TTY/TDD help, call 1-800-829-4059. If you are concerned that contributions have been sought for deceitful purposes, contact the appropriate state charity official, located in the state Attorney General's office.

If you have a spare vehicle, consider donating it to your favorite registered charity. The organization, and the taxman, will thank you.

A lesson about the good old trucks

A man named Gottlieb Daimler built the first ever-motorized truck back in 1896. He was a German automotive pioneer who also invented the very first motorcycle, as well as the world’s first taxi. Daimler’s truck consisted of a four horsepower engine, a belt drive, one reverse speed and two speeds for going forward.

In early times, the intended use and purpose of a truck was for industrial reasons. They were used to haul things, and as new needs developed, so did new types of trucks. In early times of war, trucks were used to move ammunition and troops from one place to another, as well as to transport the injured and causalities among the soldiers.

Trucks were also invented that could be used for commercial purposes such as logging, farming, and later to mix and pour materials such as concrete. Later on, huge trucks were invented for the sole purpose of hauling other trucks and vehicles from their place of manufacture to sales centers all over the world.

Today, trucks are used for a myriad of reasons, and many different types of people own and drive them. Farmers everywhere use trucks to haul hay and small farm equipment, to move cattle as well as supplies. Those in the landscape and lawn maintenance industries also use trucks; wherein trailers are attached to the trucks in order to get lawn equipment from job to job.

Trucks are not only used for job related tasks, boating enthusiasts also utilize them. There are not many reliable cars that are going to be able to pull a large, recreational type boat, and where would you put the skis, ice chests and other necessities if the trucks’ spacious bed were not available?

Trucks are made by a number of vehicle manufacturers. There are the regular size passenger trucks that seat only two people, and the large extended cab trucks that can seat five people comfortably. There are the plain trucks that come with just the basics, and trucks that come fully loaded with every available option.

Some people enjoy the sport of four wheeling, and so they purchase trucks that allow them to drive over rough terrain and through bogs of mud! These trucks are equipped with 4-wheel drive, while other trucks not intended for this purpose would come standard with 2-wheel drive.

When in search of a truck, you will need to examine your needs, and also determine exactly what the truck will be used for. If you have a large family, then a truck would probably not make a good primary vehicle for you. However, if you need a solid piece of transportation that can be utilized to haul things around, and that you can attach a trailer to, a truck might just be a worthwhile investment.

Making pedestals one lift away

Obviously, the world I almost divided in half for people with disability. In particular, those who are confined to wheelchairs need more than patience to face the truth about having no legs to use.

Fortunately, global "building codes" promulgate and provide accessibility for disabled people so that going to any establishments and commercial centers have special place and set-up suited for them.

Disability provisions are visibly noticed in public comfort rooms, parking areas, special railings at corridors, emergency switches, elevators/lifts, and ramps along sidewalk curbs. It is mandatory to provide mobility for wheelchairs to alleviate the sufferings. Given all the considerations, portable wheelchair lift can make this world caring for the indigents.

Portable wheelchair lifts are mechanical solutions to lift people on platforms like stages where ramps are not available and practical to be built. Even though there is global support to ease the accessibility of wheelchairs anywhere, there are selected but many instances where portable wheelchair lifts are necessary.

A standard minimal width of 32 inches requirement is specified to accommodate installation of special wheelchair lift for stairwells. Portable wheelchair lifts will specially conform to the best ergonomic possibilities for daily activities. Designs are very adaptable to ease household needs without affecting the usual functions of the family members.

Although it seems like the solution for mobility, expect space consumption when you purchase a portable wheelchair lift. You could imagine a massive but movable small elevator hovering your house. It is basically made of steel hollow frames, steel plates, square tubular steel strong enough to withstand a weight of up to 750 pounds. It is an innovation highly engineered to safeguard the need of lifting heavy dead weight.

Its mechanism is sophisticated and complete with fasteners and screws for attachment, springs, rollers and tracks for flexibility. Packages include installation of these parts by technical personnel to avoid errors in trial attempts. But just like any collapsible designs one can purchase everywhere, portable wheelchair lifts can be managed for layman's assembly with all the technical instructions and manual.

Usually, portable wheelchair lifts must comply with the most important functionality considerations:

* SAFETY - like any design standard procedure, safety is the most important attribute portable wheelchair lifts are built for.

* INNOVATIVE - must have the best design for handy use and give maximum comfort with less effort both on the assistant and the patient.

* FUNCTION - it must serve well the practical purpose of lifting or raising wheelchairs the practical way possible and bridge the gap between incapability and achievement with provision of this device.

Backyard landscaping an important area to landscape

For homeowners around the world, a big part of owning a home is landscaping the yard. Front yard landscaping or backyard landscaping, the work must be done. While the front yard is important because it’s more visible to neighbors and others who drive by, the backyard is no less important. The backyard is where families and friends gather for barbeques and birthday parties and where some families place their swimming pools. Most backyards are landscaped with careful thought and preparation. Special consideration is put into the positioning of every blade of grass, each decorative stone and all of the species of flowers that beautify a backyard.

Flowers, stones and grass are just some of the ways to landscape a backyard. Large shade trees, waterfalls and herbal gardens are some other ways. The theme of your landscape will depend on your hobbies, interests and goals for your backyard. Backyard landscaping can be a lot of fun, especially when you make it personal. Landscape your yard to reflect your personality and your homes personality. If you and your family like to entertain, add a bar to your back patio. Clean up the barbeque grill and don’t forget the citronella candles to keep the bugs away. Maybe you’ll want to build a croquet course, mini golf course, or put in a sand lot for some sand volleyball. Whatever your preference, make backyard landscaping fun for the whole family.

Keep your family in mind too, when it comes time to maintain the backyard landscaping. Large yards will require a lot more maintenance and grooming. Taking care of the yard can be a nice family activity. You can mow the lawn, pull the weeds and get the kids involved in watering the plants. If you have a fruit tree in your backyard, you’ll probably be spending some time picking up the fallen apples or cherries. And of course, you’ll also need to reserve time to tend to your herbal garden. It can be surprisingly rewarding to grow your own herbs and use them in special recipes that you cook when you’re entertaining friends and neighbors.

If you are the type who would rather keep your backyard to yourself, then maybe you don’t need to worry about the huge, green lawn. Perhaps you’d rather have a quaint yard with basic backyard landscaping. You can put in some grass, strategically place some shade trees and plant some of your favorite flowers. You may want to include some bigger bushes, if space allows as they will add some gorgeous green to your colorful backyard. This type of backyard may require the same maintenance as a large backyard, but not nearly the time commitment. No matter what your personality says about your backyard landscaping, one thing’s for sure—homeowners everywhere will tell you to create your backyard just the way you want to.

Young tsunami survivors find new start at shriners hospitals

When the Indian Ocean tsunami crashed ashore on December 26, 2004, many things were lost. Homes were swept away, belongings gone forever. Hundreds of thousands of people lost their lives in the disaster. And many of those who survived, including children, literally lost a part of themselves.

Seven-year-old Tara Aulia and 11-year-old Hamdani survived the tsunami that ripped through their villages in Indonesia's Aceh province, but along with their homes and family members, both children lost a limb.

Despite the horrors Tara and Hamdani experienced and the steep odds they faced at obtaining proper medical care, they had reason to celebrate less than a year later. Both children were given a new start and new prosthetics at Shriners Hospitals for Children - Philadelphia.

Tara, whose right leg had to be amputated when it became infected from an injury sustained during the tsunami, immediately adjusted to her prosthesis.

"It's wonderful to see a child adapt as well as she has so quickly," said Jeff Eichhorn, director of orthotics and prosthetics at the Philadelphia hospital. "She will be able to do anything."

Hamdani was playing soccer when the tsunami swept him away. He grabbed onto a boat, and as he clung for his life with his left arm, an uprooted tree surged past, severing his right arm above the elbow.

Tara and Hamdani came to the Philadelphia hospital through the Global Medical Relief Fund, a charitable organization that provides transportation to the United States and housing to children injured by war, natural disaster or illness.

With the help of Shriners Hospitals, which, as always, provided all services at no charge to the children or their families, Tara and Hamdani have been given a new start.

"Without this help, I don't know what she would do, how she would live," said Tara's father, Sulaiman Aulia.

Start now to boost immunity for winter

It’s that time of year again where virus’ and bacteria’s run a-muck and play havoc on our bodies. The best time to start is now to prepare for the cold and flu season.

There is no magic bullet in creating a healthy immune system. The best place to start is eliminating junk foods and beverages from the diet. Adequate rest and moderate exercise are also important.

There are certain supplements that are known for preventing sickness or taken during sickness to speed up recovery. Some of these are echinacea, goldenseal, elderberry, ginseng, astragalus, mullein leaves, yerba santa leaves, parthenium root, capsicum fruit, yarrow, pau d’arco bark, and colloidal or ionized silver.

There are many immune building multiple’s that contain many of the supplements mentioned above. The trick is to start taking 2 a day in September and continue till spring. Those with severely compromised immune systems may need more. There are homeopathics that are popular this time of year such as, oscillococcinum. It is natures # 1 flu medicine. Silver water is a natural antibiotic. Wild Mediterranean oregano oil is famous for knocking out virus, bacteria and fungus.

60% of our immune system is in our “gut”, therefore it is important to maintain an adequate amount of “friendly bacteria”. Most people supplement with acidophilus and bifidophilus to achieve this, for the typical American diet, antibiotics and other prescription medications destroy these good bacteria.

Essential oils can also be used to enhance immunity. A disinfecting room mist can be made by taking a glass 4 oz. glass bottle with a sprayer and adding a total of 90 drops of each; rosemary, tea tree and peppermint essential oils and fill the rest with spring or distilled water. Shake 100 times and let it sit for 24 hrs before use.

It does take a substantial effort to build immunity and achieve optimum health but….you and your family are worth it!!!

In closing I would suggest to anyone that you take your time, do your research, analyze your health status or needs and then find the natural products to meet your needs. It something you can do for yourself, which leaves you with a very good understanding of your health care needs. Many people go through life relying solely on other people when it comes to their nutrition or health care needs. Their are many good articles on the web, which can be very helpful and informative to you.

Fishing boat docks

Fishing Boat Docks

When I was young, a way long time ago, there was this old man who fished Buckeye Lake in Ohio and caught more bass than anyone I knew at the time. He was fishing boat docks. His lures were all beat up, most of them missing paint and some were even bare wood from hitting them on the docks so many times.

Boat docks produce shade and bass feel secure in low light areas. Docks also provide a place for bass to ambush their prey. Sometimes when you see rod holders and lights at a dock there's a chance there's some kind of structure there too. Maybe a brushpile or rocks that the owner has produced. Use your trolling motor to get close to the dock or just drift up to it and flip or pitch your lure.

Some good lures for fishing docks are a jig, worm, crankbait and spinnerbait. Of course, you want to throw as far back under the dock as you can but make sure on the retrieve that the lure bumps the dock's post as it goes by them. The erratic behavior of the lure sometimes products a strike. If you're using a crankbait, you can bend the eye and make it run under the dock. While the lure doesn't run true it does get farther under the dock where the fish are.

Now they have a lure called a _coffin bill lure that is ideal for fishing docks. Docks are one of my most favorite places to fish and apparently the bass like them too.

Seo - about web conversion

A discussion of the term web conversion and what it means in terms of its relationship to search engine optimization techniques and pay-per-click.

Web conversion is the ultimate goal of all pay per click search engine programs. Basically all the term means is the ratio of sales to the visitors on your site. Visitors who actually buy once sent to your site are the “converts.” So for example, if you get 100 unique visitors to your website and make 3 sales, your conversion rate is 3 / 100 or 1%. If you master the fine art of pay per click management you could increase that conversion rate at least ten times. That would mean that three out of every ten people that visit your site would make a purchase.

The idea that you need lots of traffic to make sales is bogus. Increasing your web conversion ratio is one hundred times more important than getting traffic. Here is another example. You can make a lot more by charging a lot for a single product and attracting fewer visitors then you probably can by charging a minimal amount for a service and trying to attract a larger number of paying customer. This is because when it comes to pay per click you need to keep your costs of acquiring each customer down.

Your goal as a money making machine is to ad add even more carefully crafted search engine optimized ads to your pay per click campaign with the idea of bringing you one hundreds or more unique visitors a week. With some sites this can garner them thousands more in income a week. However before you do this always remember to factor in the costs of your keywords into the over all cost of your pay per click campaign. Remember that each time there is a click on your ad that does not result in a sale that your credit card will be charged or you will end up having paid for “hits” in your pay per click account deleted. This is a legitimate business expense that must always be configured into your final profit. Ignoring them as an expense (just because each click only costs a few cents or less) can be costly and a big business mistake!

A great plan to eliminate debt

It’s really not surprising that so many of us are in debt due to all of the expenses that pop up into our lives. It’s also no wonder that we would consider a debt consolidation plan. All of the things that we have to pay for such as our education, mortgage, car loan, all add up and give us the feeling that were sinking fast, with no hope for air. Luckily there are tons of plans to consolidate debt that we can enroll in, and save our financial future.

These types are perfect for people who are paying off many different loans or credit card bills. The debt consolidation plan will take your smaller bills, and bundle them up into one payment, which will make for a larger balance but since it’s paid off over a longer period the monthly payments will be much lower. This will actually give you some extra cash at the end of the month but using this money wisely with good financial planning is highly recommended. It is important to note that this will eliminate none of your outstanding debt, but it’s just intended to help loosen some of your budget up so that you can get back on your feet.

Many different types of debt can be tackled with the consolidation loan; those include credit card debt, medical bills or loans, and even personal loans. Usually the interest rate is fairly lower on these types of loans for the purpose basically of giving the borrower a bit of a break and giving them a lower payment.

The Internet is a great place to search out a consumer debt consolidation program, however you should know ahead of time exactly what it is that you’re looking for. You’ll be bombarded with information and advertisements, and they’ll all look good, due to the big money that they spend on advertising, but you must be wise in your decision, and shop around responsibly.

You’ll end up with more room to spend using your credit card while you’re paying off your debts but you should be warned to use this new freedom wisely. This is where most people fall into that trap of getting themselves into more trouble than when they started. You must be cautious now with everything that you purchase, try using cash as much as possible, set a monthly budget and stick to it like glue. Basically practicing healthy financial habits, and get out of this mess you’re in, and stay out of it.

Your decision to get obtain a debt consolidation loan can turn out to be a wise decision, if you use it to actually get out of debt, or it can end up being just another excuse for you to spend irresponsibly. You make the decision.

The first time buyer

For years you have been scrimping and saving, preparing for that day when you could purchase your first house. Now, that day has arrived. However, now that it is here, it becomes evident that the process of home buying can be a little overwhelming for a first time buyer. So, what to do? first of all, don't panic and rush out and put a down payment on the first house you see. This is going to be a big purchase so you will want to plan your steps very carefully.

1. Get your credit sorted out. Having a good handle on your finances will only make this process easier. It's great that you have a down payment set aside, but have you secured financing yet? Having financing arranged before you start looking for a home is one of the best moves you can make. However, having financing arranged before you start looking means having the credit to get pre-approved for a mortgage.

2. Get pre-approved. Being pre-approved for a mortgage allows you to shop worry free and it lets you know ahead of time what you can afford. Having your mortgage pre-approved will also be an attractive asset to realtors and home owners as it shows them that you are a serious customer.

3. Be Choosy. This will likely be one of the more difficult steps. Buying a home is allot like looking for a rental property but with much more stress and emotion, and a much bigger payoff. If you are not sure what you should be looking for in a home, consult extensively with your realtor and friends that own homes. Start thinking about what you need in a home. What are your requirements in terms of rooms, location, amenities and other such aspects? Making a list is the easiest way to keep track of the necessities.

4. Get an Inspection. After finding the home that you can see yourself purchasing, have the home inspected. This is a huge step that must be observed. Most people include a subject on the purchase contract that the home must pass an inspection. Never skip this step! There could one of many things wrong with the home you have chosen that the owner may not even know about. Inspections will survey the plumbing & electrical systems in the home as well as the roof and the structure itself. Anything that is amiss can be utilized as a bargaining point in the sale of the home, or if severe enough; can simply be reason to walk away from that particular home.

5. Close. Assuming that everything has gone according to plan you should now merely be concerned with your possession date. The home passed inspection, your offer was accepted, and the deal closed. Congratulations! You have bought your first home!

Bankruptcy lawyer your final solution when running out of options

Before rushing to a lawyer to assist you in filing for bankruptcy, you have to make sure what is bankruptcy and what is not. Only then will you have to find a bankruptcy lawyer that you can work with in filing your case. Many people rush to file for bankruptcy thinking that it will solve their financial problems. The opposite is often true.

Declaring your business to be legally bankrupt, only mean that you have done everything you could and there is no way for recovery. It means being deep in debt that it will already be impossible for you to sustain the business.

There are kinds and variations to bankruptcy and the legal process will depend very much on where you are coming from but the purpose is the same. Bankruptcy cases will take years to resolve. The court will determine what debts do not have to be repaid and what will be directly deducted from your income.

In the interim, credit lines will be closed to you. Your credit history will be tainted and no credit institution will want to do business with you. Back taxes that you owe will still have to be paid and obligations will still be enforced like alimony and child support.

When there is no resolution that is possible, finding a good bankruptcy lawyer will then be the only recourse.

A good bankruptcy lawyer should be someone you can be comfortable talking with. Someone you can trust and someone who has displayed competence in handling bankruptcy. This is very important as communication between you and the lawyer must be based on trust. There have been so many instances when the client holds back on information that he thinks is not so significant only to learn later on that the piece of information that was withheld posed additional complication to the case. Withholding information from your bankruptcy lawyer pose problems where non existed before. Bankruptcy lawyers can only help the client to the extent of the knowledge that the lawyer has. It is crucial then that the client works with the lawyer. This is in the first place the client’s future that is at stake.

Do not hesitate to interview the lawyer prior to retaining him. Ask the lawyer questions and a good lawyer must answer you in a language that you can understand. If you don’t, do not be afraid to clarify statements that could be ambiguous to you. Find out a bankruptcy lawyer that already has an extensive experience in handling bankruptcy cases. Whenever possible find a bankruptcy lawyer who is a specialist. Avoid the generalist, as they may not be able to help you as much.

If you feel uncomfortable talking with a particular bankruptcy lawyer, find another one. You can visit the local bar association to find out their recommendation.

When you visit your bankruptcy lawyer, bring a list of all the creditors that you owe, including payments to personal loans that you are not left behind and a list of all your assets and liabilities. The more information you provide the bankruptcy lawyer, the better and more accurate the recommendations he will give you. Remember that lawyers can only work as good as the information that you provide.

Cooperate well in giving your lawyer the data regarding your case because you are in the best position to give those to him. You also will be the person that will either suffer or benefit from the outcome.

Hi tech greenhouses

You probably don’t want to be constantly looking after your greenhouse yourself – opening the windows when it gets too hot, going round every few days and all the rest. It’s much easier to get automatic systems to do these chores for you.

To water your plants, you should install irrigation systems. These are basically small pipes that run underground and slowly release water into the soil – greenhouse models are very similar to the ones used on commercial farms, only smaller. These irrigation systems allow you to quite simply and easily set how much water your plants are getting with a tap, instead of you having to go and water them all by hand. Many plants will also respond better to being watered at the roots than they do to being watered on the topsoil, and they will often grow bigger, which is an added bonus.

The other thing you need is a cooling system. While it might seem odd to have a cooling system in a greenhouse, it is possible for them to get so hot inside that all the plants will get cooked and die, especially in a hot summer. Again, the cooling system will be a series of underground pipes, allowing hot air to be taken down underground and stored during the day, and then released when it is cooler in the night.

While greenhouses might seem to be quite basic things altogether, though, there’s nothing stopping you from going all high-tech with them. More advanced systems have electronic climate control, allowing you to set the exact temperature of your greenhouse, and will open and close underground tubes and other escape routes for hot air in order to keep the temperature in your greenhouse tightly controlled. This can be useful for growing plants that only do well in one specific climate, such as some kinds of tropical flowers.

Product sourcing strategies - new trends that will work for your e-biz

Changing with the Times

In recent years, online shoppers have gotten more computer-savvy and more comfortable making purchases over the Internet. As a result, their expectations have grown. They know what they’re looking for and they have more choices, so they’re more discriminating about where they’ll shop. That’s why it’s important for online sellers to adapt the way they source products and give their customers what they want. Fortunately, some new trends have emerged in product sourcing that are ideal for the home-based retailer:

• Vertical Product Sourcing

Consumers want to buy from e-stores with specialized product lines. Lisa Suttora, of WhatDoISell. com, explains, "Vertical product sourcing is going very deep and very narrow into a product line. You want to focusing on those narrow niches.” For example, if you sell general home dйcor, you might concentrate on teen home dйcor or home dйcor made from organic materials. But make your products closely related — variety stores don’t work well online.

• Target a Demographic

Consumers want differentiation, so you, as a seller, need to look at what makes your business unique and sets it apart from every other e-store. Focus on your customer base — design your web store and word your listings to appeal to your target market. Provide them information relevant to them — if you sell old movie memorabilia, write some articles on old film stars or share behind-the-scenes tidbits that will give your customers a reason to come back to your site. Do something to add value to your web site and make it stand out.

• Cater to All Seasons

Everyone knows that snow boots sell best in the winter months and pumpkin dйcor sells best in the fall. But most people don’t realize that almost every product sells best at a particular time of year. You can maximize your sales by constantly adjusting your line-up to the changing seasons. For instance, if you sell tableware, start catering to wedding shoppers around June — carry certain types of silverware, napkin-holders, toasting flutes, etc.

If your core products are season-specific, find related alternatives for your standard products’ off-season. There’s no reason to lose out on sales just because it’s chilly out. If you sell lawn furniture, you might not sell a single grill in December. But you might do quite well with heat lamps, or other products for people that want to spend time enjoying the outdoors.

• Source Multiple Venues

While there’s nothing wrong with working with particular wholesalers on a regular basis, be sure you don’t get stuck in product sourcing rut. If you're not utilizing the many available product channels, you're not making the connections you need or exposing yourself to the many highly specialized products you may not even realize are out there.

Consider integrating localized sourcing. Many brick-and-mortar stores in your area may be interested in having an online presence but be unsure of how to get started. Says Suttora, “This represents an opportunity for eCommerce sellers who work from home or out of their office, to partner with these other companies; and doing so can greatly increase your income.” Beyond that, it’s a great way to strengthen your product line without increasing your overhead.

How to apply makeup

:
Women use makeup to enhance their natural beauty. Following these instructions will help you will learn how to apply makeup for all occasions. Begin by washing your face. Use a gentle cleanser that does not dry out the skin. Follow up with a moisturizer appropriate for your skin type. Cover your clothing with a towel to protect it while you do your makeup application.

Concealer comes next

Even top models don't have flawless skin. Concealer hides any blemishes or undereye circles. Select a color one shade lighter than your foundation. Using your ring finger, put dots of concealer over any blemishes and undereye circles. Blend it in with the tip of that finger or a makeup sponge. You can use either a liquid concealer or a solid type.

Foundation is the base

A liquid foundation that matches your skin tone exactly is the best choice. Start by putting it on in dots over the middle of your face. Use your fingertips or a makeup sponge to spread it out until it covers your entire face. The foundation will cover the concealer.

To keep the foundation in place, dust on loose or pressed powder in the same color with a brush or powder puff. You can take a compact with pressed powder with you for touchups later.

The eyes have it

There are several steps in how to apply makeup around the eyes. Start with the eyebrows. If they have been plucked excessively, you will need to create a browline using eyebrow pencil or powdered shadow. These products can also fill in any gaps in the natural brows. Eyebrow pencil can look harsh and unnatural unless used carefully. To apply powdered eyebrow shadow, use a hard slanted brush.

Eye shadow should coordinate with your eye color and your skin tones. Use dark eye shadow to line the edge of your upper eyelid, following along above the upper lashes. Medium colored eye shadow is placed above that and up to the crease of the eye. Light eye shadow goes from there to just under the eyebrow. For day wear, use matte colors. Gleaming or sparkling colors are more appropriate for evening.

Wet a cake eyeliner in a darker coordinating color to bring out the eyes more and apply it in a thin line on the bottom edge of the upper eyelid using a brush. If you wish the eyes to appear larger, apply the eyeliner only on the upper eyelid, extending the line about one-half inch beyond the corner of the eye. Women with large eyes or who prefer a more dramatic evening look may also apply eyeliner on the edge of the lower lid below the eyelashes. Make sure the lines are thin to avoid a raccoon appearance. Eyeliner pencil can be used instead of the cake eyeliner.

Mascara is the last step in the eye part of makeup application. Again, select a color based on your skin tone, using dark brown if you are fair and black for darker skin. Navy or plum can be used for evening, but are not really appropriate for work. Dip the applicator into the tube and gently wave it over the upper and lower lashes. Wait a few minutes for it to dry before applying a second coat. This will help avoid clumping. For evening, you may wish to use an eyelash curler to get a more exotic look, but be sure to do this before applying mascara.

Blush adds life

Blush comes in both powder and gel forms. Whichever you choose, apply it sparingly to avoid looking like a clown. Find the apples of your cheeks by smiling and then put the blush either on them or just below, whichever is more flattering to you.

Kissable lips

Pick a lipstick color that goes with both your skin tone and your outfit. Either apply it from the tube or use a lipstick brush as professional makeup artists do. Add lip liner around the edges of the lips after the lipstick has been applied. Make sure the lipliner color is a similar shade to the lipstick, as very dark lipliner with pale lipstick will look silly.

Be safe with your cosmetics

Cosmetics don't last forever. They can become contaminated with bacteria, so to be safe they should be discarded once they get old. This is especially important for mascara which should not be kept longer than one year after it is first used. Avoid risking health problems by not sharing cosmetics with other people.

Now that you know how to apply makeup, why not practice before your next big event? By following these instructions, you'll look great wherever you go.

The where and abouts of bad credit home equity loan

“Home sweet home” is the saying regarding our homes and that is certainly true in many cases. A home can be of additional use to people with bad credit history, like with IVA’s, CCJ’s, defaults or people who have filled for bankruptcy. A home can be a linchpin for such people to apply for bad credit home equity loan.

These people usually find it hard to get a loan. However, with bad credit home equity loan, they can get a loan at very reasonable terms. And this is possible with the help of home, which they own.

A bad credit home equity loan is a kind of secured loan, which is offered to people with bad credit history where the collateral offered by the borrowers is their home. This loan offers borrowers a chance to meet out their requirements.

A bad credit home equity loan is a loan which is pretty similar to the other loans with similar characteristics, like interest rates being relatively low, an option available to choose the time frame of the loan, being able to negotiate the monthly installments, an option of choosing a loan amount which can go up to 125% of the value of the home and freedom to apply the loan where the borrowers want to.

The only difference being that these loans are for people with bad credit history, i. e. people who have a poor credit score i. e. a score of or below 600 when they previously took the loan. This results in a credit score, which was not good. The score is a mathematical representation of one’s creditworthiness. A special advantage of the bad credit home equity loan that many people do not know about is that it can help in rebuilding the credit score of borrower to the normal. This can help in getting the normal or lower terms for the loans next time, if needs be. The only disappointing aspect of bad credit home equity loan is that not all the people with bad credit history can benefit from it. Otherwise, you are looking at proverbial 22-carat gold.

For people, who want to apply for the bad credit home equity loan, can do so by applying to any lender with which their terms meet and fill in the required forms. The process may also require the borrowers to produce certain documents, such as proof of income, age, residence and credit score statements. Once all these are summoned, the loan can be the borrower’s.

Fourth and goal

What makes people like sports? People like sports because it is inherent in our human nature to enjoy seeing someone approach a challenge and through their skill, their effort or sometimes just sheer luck, make it through the gauntlet. Football is a sport that presents plenty of challenge along its way, whether it's passing over the heads of defenders to a wide receiver, running through a blockade of beefy strong linebackers or simply kicking the ball through the goalpost. Meeting the challenges is what football is all about. For the NFL there are three challenges that need to be met head-on.

The preseason

Long the bane of consistent fans and new prospects alike is the NFL's long preseason coverage. For fans who have missed football from February foreword the preseason offers an exciting look at new teams, how they work together and how draft picks are coming along to form a consistent and solid year. Everyone from sports enthusiasts to predicting prophets wants to see what the teams look like. However, the four-week preseason before the regular season games begin is simply too long. Preseason games are played with less ardor and many of the star athletes don't play in them because they don't want to risk getting hurt before the regular season begins. What it leads to is new fans walking into the season with bad plays and boring games, low-string players, and not enough energy. A shorter preseason would help the NFL to maintain momentum into the regular contest.

The Pro Bowl

After an exciting regular season, the playoffs and finally the Super Bowl, which is America's unofficial national holiday, comes the Pro Bowl: A limping, sad game many professionals refuse to play and because they do not want to risk injury for vanities sake. The Pro Bowl is a dragged out, tired tradition harming football and creating little interest for the sport. After the Super Bowl is over, watching one more game seems pointless. Who cares what happens after the world championship? Others complain the picking is nothing but a popularity contest and has no real meaning Veteran players don't want to risk the injury, and the game limps along with third or fourth choices doing the actual playing. A better option for the NFL is name a team but not play a game. Players who succeed in different parts of the sport can be honored as the best players for that position but no injury, boring football game or media damage has to be done in the process.

Overtime

The new problem the NFL faces is a consistent criticism of their overtime system. Based on the idea that sudden death creates shorter games and a quicker resolution to the contest the overtime system leaves one glaring error. The team to receive the ball is decided by a coin toss and receives a great advantage in the resolution. Many ask if a simple coin should really have a say in the outcome of the game. A team that has a stellar offense and weak defense could easily lose if the other team receives the ball. That team can score, and close the window of opportunity before the offense of the opposing team even has a chance to take the field. Solutions have been recommended for the coin toss system, including allowing both teams a chance to drive the ball or enacting a dual kick off with the team who advances the ball the farthest keeping the ball in place and driving from that point.

Sport is about overcoming challenge, and by facing these challenges head-on, making wise decisions, the NFL has every opportunity to make changes that will keep this American obsession as popular as it has always been.

Passover laugh while cleaning

Passover, or Pesach as it is called in Hebrew, is the 8 day festival where the Jews celebrate their liberation from Egypt more than a thousand years ago. One of the most important features of this freedom festival is that the Jews cannot eat anything that is leavened. They eat unleavened bread.

They must also make sure that no bread crumbs exist in or around the house: the cupboards, the drawers, the kitchen, behind the bed, under the refrigerator and anywhere else where crumbs might have fallen through. To ensure that the house is clean of leavened food materials, the Jews have to clean the entire house from top to bottom as thoroughly as possible. And they do. During the week before Passover, house cleaning is what goes on in most Jewish houses. To answer this demand and to ease the tension, here is a joke on this subject called Impossible Timing, which highlights this cleaning tension.

Impossible Timing:

Samuel, an observant Jew, who was also a financial wizard, left Brooklyn to accept the position of Vice President in a famous broker firm in Utah, which is well known for being a Mormon state.

When they learned this, the company's directorate applied tremendous pressure on the company's president. "We are religious people here," they said. "It can't be that a Jew will handle all our money."

The president tried to ward them off, but when he couldn't manage it anymore, he called Samuel to his office and explained the situation to him. Samuel was offered the choice of either converting or leaving the attractive job which also had a six figure salary quote attached to it.

Samuel had no choice but to convert, and he went home and told his wife that from Sunday, they will start attending the Church services.

A few months went by and his wife kept troubling Samuel about the conversion. "This is too difficult for me. I miss the Sabbath: lighting candles and blessing the wine. I miss the holidays. Money is not everything, Samuel dear."

And with each time that his wife complained, Samuel's conscience increased until he could not take it anymore and he went to meet the company's President.

"Look, I can't go on like this," Samuel said. "I am full of regret. Money is not everything. I can't sleep and neither can my wife. This is too heavy a burden for me to carry. I was born a Jew and I want to die a Jew. And if you want me to quit, I will without making any trouble."

The President looked at him in wonder, "Listen, Samuel, I had no idea that this was so difficult for you. I thought it was a trivial matter. But you don't have to leave. Everything will be the same as before: you can stay here with us without converting.

Samuel returned home happy and grinning from ear to ear. He ran to his wife, who was watching Ricky Lake, "You won't believe it! It's a miracle. We are going back to being Jews, and I still retain my job."

His wife looked at him with eyes that spat fire, and said," Are you mad?"

Samuel was shocked. "But I thought that this is what you wanted!" He cut in. "All this while you have been crying and complaining. Don't you wish to go back to becoming a Jew""

His wife looked at him with ever more fury, "Of course I want to. Of course I want to," she said. "But now? Only a week before Passover?"

Diabetes the 132 billion dollar pandemic

You know, it's not everyday a fellow like me gets to announce a major paradigm shift, much less concerning diabetes …or any other medical condition.

You don't know what a paradigm shift is? Well, if I mentioned events and names like: Gutenberg, Copernicus, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Louis Pasteur, and Werner von Braun …you would probably guess a paradigm shift is major shift in thinking…and you would be right.

Back in the 1960's, Thomas Kuhn wrote a famous book, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. In it, he destroyed the common misconception so many of us have about science.

We tend to think scientific progress is ushered in by a slow, line upon line, piece by piece development of thought over time.

Thomas Kuhn showed that, historically, scientific progress occurs in leaps …and is always confronted by a struggle with an "old guard." The old scientific theorists hold tenaciously to their (usually tenured or profitable) positions and array themselves against the new discovery, attempting to drive it away.

But, the new guard - the new discoverers, inventors, explorers - takes the new discoveries and advances it over the thinking of the old establishment. Rarely is the old guard converted to the new patterns of thinking (new discovery). They just die off. The new position wins by attrition …truth…and perseverance.

Diabetes: The $132 billion dollar pandemic

Diabetes is on the front edge of such a paradigm shift.

Diabetes now afflicts over 18 million Americans. That is double the number of people with diabetes just since 1991 alone.

According to the CDC, one in every three Americans will develop diabetes in their lifetime. Let that sink in…one in every three Americans will develop diabetes in their lifetime.

It is estimated over 40 million Americans can be classified as "pre-diabetes" meaning they have blood sugar levels higher than normal but still below the type 2 diagnosis level which helps to define diabetes.

By anyone's standard that is pandemic (goes far beyond epidemic proportions). The cost for this carnage is over $132 BILLION DOLLARS. So much expense, grief and sorrow…and unnecessary.

Diabetes: A reflection of our culture.

We are a fast food, sedentary, "get-our-fix-now" generation. More than one in every two Americans are overweight. We don't exercise as we should. All of which affects glucose levels. Diabetes is a lifestyle disease…and we've got the lifestyle.

Diabetes: The important announcement

That said, diabetes is a condition which CAN be turned around. Glyconutrition is the new discovery shaking the medical and scientific worlds. There are four Nobel Prizes and MIT testifying to the fact that glycobiology is one of the 10 technologies/discoveries which will shape our world.

Glyconutrition is more than just a promising new treatment for diabetes. Many are starting to whisper "VICTORY" over diabetes in their approach to disease.

Whether that is the case, time will tell.

Oh no… The problem is not a failure of glyconutrition. It is the building block VITAL to healthy cellular function and it is extremely vital to the proper functioning of the IMMUNE system. Those are known facts.

Diabetes is an auto-immune disease meaning, your body's immune system gets misguided messages. Thus, it starts attacking the islet cells in the pancreas which produces insulin. Voila...diabetes!

But, the problem is NOT whether glyconutrition really works. Anecdotal evidence (market buzz!) is already overwhelming in favor of glyconutritional therapy for diabetes. As is the professional research.

No…the actual science is NOT the problem. The problem is the old guard again. Thomas Kuhn's book is almost prophetic. The old guard, the medical and pharmaceutical establishment, just can't accept the findings of (their own) research… "What! A nutrient… to treat diabetes?" "Hogwash," one can almost hear them say.

Actually, I wish they were saying that out loud. The reality is, they just ignore the issue. You see, too much is at stake. Like billions of dollars…uh…a $132 billion dollars. All of that money (read, "business") disappears if glyconutrition continues to "pan out" the way the research shows us. But, for now, the only thing "panning out" is a diabetes pandemic.

Yet, glyconutrition gets shunned as an official diabetes treatment approach.

A study published in the 1997 issue of the Proceedings of the Fisher Institute for Medical Research showed that people with type 1 diabetes who were given glyconutrients "…reported a dramatic improvement in their health, including a decrease in vision problems, better wound healing, less infections, and lower blood pressure." (Miracle Sugars, by Rita Elkins, M. H., Woodland Publishing, p. 26)

"Glycobiology has achieved critical breakthroughs in the medical field, primarily by addressing what could be the greatest plague in health care today -- auto-immune diseases. Multiple sclerosis, arthritis, diabetes, Crohn's disease and colitis are just a few of these diseases." - Dr. Neecie Moore, Ph. D. (cf. Rita Elkins, M. H.

Miracle Sugars, Woodland Publishing, p. 18.)

Also, mannose (one glyconutrient) can stimulate the pancreas to produce more insulin "…thus lowering the amount of insulin needed to control this disease." (Miracle Sugars, p. 27).

Reality Check: The lives of 1 out of every 3 Americans are affected directly by diabetes and there is a $132 billion dollar diabetes pandemic running amuck in our midst. So, I sure hope this paradigm shift - glyconutrition - gets less opposition from the "powers that be" (the "old guard"), and is given its rightful place in the sun…soon.

But, with the money being made by the pharmaceuticals and their drugs, and the astoundingly simplistic view of disease treatment ("Blast that disease with technology and drugs!") it is doubtful if Thomas Kuhn's "paradigm shift" will work out any differently for diabetes across the land.

The old guard will attack and ignore the discovery - arguably, the greatest in medical history in over a hundred years - and, a la Kuhn, they will simply go the way of the Dodo Bird and diabetes treatment will receive its due.

How to create a winning headline in just minutes

Keywords that cut to the heart of your prospect’s pleasure or pain zone are certain to capture the attention and interest of that specific group. Dynamite benefits, extra advantages and unique solutions all naturally draw attention and interest.

To the prospect suffering from a seemingly incurable case of Hay Fever, a headline such as “Stop Hay Fever In Seconds With This Secret Ingredient Found In Every Refrigerator!” is guaranteed to interrupt his online travels and the dozen or so thoughts swirling around in his mind and draw him towards your message.

The obvious keyword is “hay fever” -- this is what the prospect’s radar is set to detect. More specifically, it’s the cure, or the alleviation of pain and discomfort that the prospect seeks. But it’s the use of the word “hay fever” that identified the message as having importance, triggering the reaction and shift in focus.

Prospects are constantly on the lookout for ‘new’ ideas, solutions, and upgrades -- hence the common practice among marketers to unveil ‘new and improved’ versions of older products. ‘New’ implies an improvement over the old, established way. It hints at the promise of a greater benefit.

Promise a unique advantage in your headline and you’ll pull eyeballs towards your proposition. As humans, we’re wired to be on the lookout for ways to get more living out of life. We want more… and we want it faster, easier and at a lower cost. Headlines that scream such advantages reap the reward of higher readership.

Another strategy to create great headlines on demand is to employ proven, attention-getting words and phrases. Following is an ongoing list of such headline words and phrases. Obviously, you’ll want to customize your own headline, but stringing together a few words from this list can get you off to a good start.

Psychology journal article resource guide

The psychology journal article is the essential document for several study tasks. And the more specific or narrow the topic of study, the more precious the psychology journal article. So where do you begin, for your own paper or research in psychology, sociology, or many other science branches?

Begin with the major indexes, those databases that have directed, dated (or updated) sources and resources and internationally published and professional psychology journal articles. These indexes typically include APA, NIMH, and other renowned journals; and the journal-finding sites are, for example, as follows:

PubMed—pubmed. gov

PSYCLINE--psycline. org/journals/psycline. html

Hanover College Psych Dept Journals ---

psych. hanover. edu/Krantz/ journal. html

Oxford Journals--ei. oxfordjournals. org

The Worldwide Web Virtual Library Psychology Journals

-- dialogical. net/psychology/journals. html

You can access most if not all of these and several more indexes through your college or local library, both of which usually also have a number of back issues of the journals with the psychology journal articles you are looking for. In the county where I am from, for example, the community colleges offer ProQuest Psychology Journals, InfoTrak Expanded Academic ASAP, and links to Psychology Journals’ Websites, among other access/search engines.

In several cases, however, you can access the journal article online and off-campus can download and print it, too. Some cost a few dollars, and some are free.

Once you get to an index you like, you will want to look first for the psychology journal. Make sure it will render 1) a literature review; 2) methods; 3) results; 4) discussion; and 5) data [according to Skyline College librarian suggestions]. And once you get to the specific journal, to search for a psychology journal article, look for complete articles by clicking on the “full text” option. When you get a list of psychology journal articles, you can click on the title, then click on the “get article,” “download,” or “print” options.

How to speed read read faster read better

One of the most highly regarded manuscripts dedicated to teaching speed reading is now available as an e-Book

Dealing with debt

For better or worse, we live in a society that thrives on credit. Almost any product can be purchased through installments. Credit cards and credit applications come through the mail on a regular basis. Unfortunately, some consumers become overwhelmed by their credit obligations. Because of a variety of reasons, overspending, illness, the loss of a job, it becomes impossible for them to pay all their bills.

If you cannot resolve your credit problems alone or need additional assistance, you may wish to contact an agency like the Consumer Credit Counseling Service or another credit counseling organization. These nonprofit organizations counsel consumers who are in debt. A counselor will try to arrange a repayment plan between the consumer and their creditors, and will help set up a realistic budget and plan expenditures. These services, are generally offered at little to no cost.

If you have a problematic credit report, there are no quick, "magic" fixes. The only way to fix your credit history is through sound management of your money. Then, continued management your finances for a long enough period of time so that your history reflects responsible spending habits.

Some consumers turn to companies, which claim to be able to fix credit problems. These companies, sometimes called "credit repair clinics," often make misleading promises to consumers, such as promising to remove a bankruptcy from their credit report and charge high fees for doing the same things consumers can do on their own.

You need not pay someone else to learn what is in your file or to correct inaccurate information. See the Credit Reports section for more information about how to get and correct information in your credit file.

Your Credit Report will contain information about your

Identity: includes your name, address, marital status, and your date of birth, number of dependents, previous address, and Social Security number.

Employment: includes your present position, length of employment, income and previous job.

Credit History: consists of your credit experiences with specific credit grantors.

Public Record: includes civil suits and judgments, bankruptcy records, or other legal proceedings recorded by a court.

Under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act , consumer-reporting agencies may keep correct and verifiable information in your file for seven years, and ten years in the case of bankruptcy. There are a few exceptions:

- if you apply for a job which pays more than $75,000 per year, the reporting agency may provide all the information it has, including items over seven years old.

- information reported because of an application for more than $50,000 worth of credit or life insurance has no time limitation;

- information concerning lawsuits or judgments against you can be retained in your file for seven years or until the statute of limitations expires, whichever is longer.

Others Who Can Obtain Your Credit Report

Any business, individual, or government agency may request a credit report for its legitimate business needs involving a transaction with the consumer. These include: credit granting considerations; review or collection of an account; employment considerations; insurance underwriting; a potential partnership; security clearance; or lease. Reports may also be issued at the written request of the consumer or a court.

Reviewing Your Credit File

You have to right to know the contents of your credit history. Upon request a consumer reporting agency must disclose to you all of its information about you and its sources for that information. This includes the names of all those who requested credit reports or other information about you in the last six months as well as anyone who obtained reports for employment purposes in the past two years. You may either make an appointment to review your file or request the information over the phone. The credit-reporting agency must provide you with a free copy of your file if you have been denied credit within the last 30 days. Otherwise, the agency may charge you a reasonable fee not to exceed $8.

The future of search engine rankings

How do you plan for future changes in search engine rankings?

It would be great to have a crystal ball, prying into the plans of the search engines and how they may change weights of algorithms and the like.

For those of little SE understanding, algorithms are formulas or rules set up by SE's to determine ranking. Each rule then has a different weight or percentage of importance assigned to it. A good example of this is currently Google's high weighting of linking over all other factors or rules.

So knowing this how do we get ahead of the game?

Do we simply keep up with the Jones (Google) in current time and not worry about future changes? Or do we allow for future changes in algorithms so we don't have to go changing thousands of pages later on?

For me I will take the later.... and this is how it's done...

We simply build in all factors that the SE's currently rank sites on, a few they may use into the future and concentrate on ones that are the most sensible.... here is a list

domain name >> the name itself, length of registration past and future

domain hosting >> good hosting network. different ip range for mininets/virtual real estate

meta tags >> title, keywords, description

on page >> keyword density, headers, alt tags, outbound links, outbound link text, site map, less graphics, no flash or frames

visitor usability >> fast loading, good content, good navigation, search equipped, site map

html >> w3c compliant

directories >> dmoz & yahoo, local, industry specific, large generic

linking >> inbound links, reciprocal links, domain & text linking (spread), same/similar industries (semantic latent indexing), no linking for bad neighborhoods or sites, quantity & quality of links, where links are placed on the page, link density, ip class/range

I'm sure there are a few others that I could add to this list however on the whole currently this is it.

If you include all of these items into building your next web page and sites, no matter how the SE's decide to change their algorithms by giving one factor a higher importance over another, you will be in good stead to keeping up top rankings.

Like anything else, high search engine ranking is not rocket science! You just have to know the rules and then do the work.

Start with one keyword or phrase, do the research, implement a plan, do the work, get the high ranking and then move onto the next keyword or phrase.....

And if you want a huge head start, there's some great info out on fast SEO ranking.

Happy rankings....

With bigger trees, you will have to bend the branches and trunk to give it a shape. The shaping and structuring of Bonsai Plant is done during the growing season only.

Four reasons to learn german

What A German Language School Can Do For You

German is not always the first choice for people looking to learn a foreign language. But maybe it should be. German is spoken by more than 100 million people in 38 countries around the world. Most of the world's German speakers are in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but there are also significant numbers of German speakers in the United States and South America. That's a lot of German speakers, and a lot of reasons to learn German. Here are five reasons to consider attending a German language school.

1. Learn German For Business

Germany is the third largest industrial nation in the world and a major exporter. Learning German will help business people to improve their prospects of doing business in German-speaking countries. And while it may be true that many Germans speak English as well as, if not better than, many native English speakers, those who learn German will have the advantage of understanding what is said in its original context. Many German language schools offer classes specifically designed to help business people learn German. These include classes dealing with speaking on the telephone, negotiations and presentations.

2. Learn German For Travel

In addition to the three major European countries where German is a native language, German is a second language for many countries across Eastern Europe. Those planning to travel in Romania, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia or Kazakhstan may find it useful to learn German to communicate in those regions. There are many websites that offer free language lessons to help travelers learn basic German phrases. However, for a more intensive course, travelers could learn German in Berlin or another part of Germany.

3. Learn German For Tourism

With three major language centers and many other German-speaking regions, German is a key language for those seeking to work in the tourist industry. Some German language schools offer courses aimed at professionals in different industries which will also help those in the tourist trade. This is key not just for those planning to work within Germany, but for those planning to work with the millions of German-speaking tourists who travel the globe each year.

4. Learn About German Culture

German culture is more than beer and lederhosen. Germany has a rich cultural heritage. Many great thinkers, such as Freud and Einstein, were German. Many of the most respected classical composers came from Germany. There is a lot to do in Germany, from exploring towns with a centuries-old history to seeing the wonders of modern engineering technology. Those who study in Germany will find that this gives an inside view of many aspects of German culture.

Where Should I Learn German?

Although there are plenty of German classes available in most countries, a good option is to study in Germany at a German language school. This means that students will learn by immersion, hearing German spoken both inside and outside the classroom. This is a good way to learn German fast and correctly. There are German language schools around the country. One option is to study in Berlin. Not only does Berlin have many universities and educational institutions, but it also has a rich cultural history and many sights to see. This makes study in Berlin a good option for learning German.

Good credit vs. bad credit

There are millions of people in the world that have poor credit, so first and foremost, realize you are not alone! However, having bad credit is not beneficial to your financial future. I intend on explaining to you the reasoning for this, as well as helping you find the right solution for your credit problems. There is light at the end of the tunnel! There is a way to free yourself and your family from financial burden, read on to find out.

Credit is an ongoing problem in the United States, and to help rectify the situation, several types of debt consolidation companies and law firms have become available. According to Trinity Credit Services, “The average American with less than perfect credit spends an extra 30-40% per month in higher interest rates.”1 Do you want to be the average American? I would hope not! An alternative resource to using a credit repair agency is a debt relief attorney. Keep in mind, all of the services offered by credit repair agencies and attorneys are steps you can take yourself, if you make the time to do so. The process is simple, however also time consuming. Your first step would be to search online for your credit report. You will discover there are several avenues to take to obtaining a free report covering all three of the major agencies, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Any way you choose to go, here are some questions to keep in mind:

Is the company/firm licensed and bonded?

What is their Better Business Bureau rating?

How long have they been in business?

Can you physically go to their office and arrange a consultation?

Do they charge for a consultation?

Do they use a multi-stage process or the single process of letter writing?

If you choose to use a debt attorney rather than an agency, several options can be

located on the internet, just type “debt repair attorney” in the search box. What you will find is that there are many firms offering the same services, so you will begin to wonder why you should choose one over the other. The previously mentioned food for thought will help you figure out which service best fits your needs. Good credit goes a very long way in today’s economy. Just think about a few reasons you would like to have good credit. Would you feel more financially secure? How about more disciplined with your spending?

Words from the mouth of Steven Covey have stuck with me through the years of credit woes, and through my journey to financial freedom. Covey, author of the book, “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,” identifies the first three habits as lessons to improve your self-discipline. Covey emphasizes a change in one’s personal habits as the start of the journey to success. So, I will recommend the same. Sit down with a spreadsheet and map your spending. Plug those values into a budget calculator, and try to cut back in areas that are not necessary. For example, if you’re spending $100 on dry cleaning, become more disciplined in changing and hanging your work clothes when you get home so they can be worn again before needing to be cleaned. Simple tasks like this will begin to save you a good chunk of money before you realize it. When the end of the month comes, and you have only spent $40 on dry cleaning, put the other $60 into a savings account for your children’s college education, or a nice vacation for yourself. You will see the money grow at a rate you cannot even fathom! The three major credit bureaus are:

Equifax:

Experian:

TransUnion:

3-in-1 Report:

Here’s to unleashing the path to your financial success! Good luck!

Patchouli candles setting the standard for scented candles

Patchouli candles help fill the room with the scent of the candles. Unlike other scented candles, you do not have to be seated next to the candle to enjoy the scent or only get a whiff of it after you blow out the flame. The scent of cloves, gingerbread or other homemade baked goods from Patchouli candles really enhances the atmosphere of a kitchen. You can also have a sweet earthy fragrance in Patchouli candles, which even males enjoy having around them.

The main fragrance of Patchouli candles comes from the essential oil of the Patchouli plant. This plant is native to Asia and has a powerful mossy, musty fragrance. A Patchouli candle also combines the scents of other essential oils, so that you have a wide variety of fragrances to choose from. For example, clove and Patchouli Yankee candles help every room of the house to have a scent that all will enjoy. In addition, these Yankee candles are therapeutic in the aromatherapy of the essential oils.

A clove and Patchouli Yankee candle has a very soothing scent. This scent is just as popular today as it was with the love child population of the 1960’s. Lighting a Patchouli candle will help to calm your nerves after a stressful day at work. Patchouli candles work well in the bathroom where you can soak in the tub and breathe in the heavenly scent. The essential oil of the Patchouli plant is thought to get better as it ages and this is what you get when you purchase one of these clove and Patchouli Yankee candles.

Patchouli candles are available as votive candles, as well as tapered and pillar candles. Some of the scents you can get in addition to clove and Patchouli candles include ginger, apricot and lemon grass. The scent of a Patchouli candle will help you get back to nature as you bask in the aroma. The dark color Demeter Patchouli Yankee candle is a blend of orange and Patchouli scents. Some of the pillar candles in clove and Patchouli candles can burn for as long as 130 hours, but you can also have the smaller candles that burn out much faster.

You can also make your own Patchouli candles if you make candles at home. Simply adding a few drops of the Patchouli oil will help you get the scented candles that you want. Pour the wax into jars for jar candles or make them in any shape that you wish. However, if you are not into candlemaking, the easiest way to get the clove and Patchouli candle that you want is to order it from the Yankee Candle Company. Choose from the wide array of Patchouli candles available. Once you purchase one Patchouli candle, you will be hooked on the scent and will definitely be back for more.
