The secret - when you can walk on water take the boat part 37

The threads of history weave strange patterns in the web of time. Mysterious and complex as the tapestry sometimes appears, the finished product invariably is a work of art. Often, one cannot see the entire picture from the limited perspective of a small portion of a lifetime. It’s by expanding the mind and trusting the universal flow that it’s possible to make sense of what may be considered nonsense or “none sense.”

It was sometime in the late sixteenth or early seventeenth century. Far across the seas in the ancient land of Bharat, which today is known as India, mighty forces were at work. Somewhere in the north central part of that land, in an area inhabited by the descendants of fierce Rajput warriors, the Maharajah Jai Singh the Second had already made tremendous scientific advancements in the pink and lavender city of Jaipur.

A young boy, about the age of ten, served at the court of the powerful Jai Singh. This boy’s name, taken from another powerful ruler of earlier days, was Mahn Singh. Well versed was he with the stories told at court. On many an evening he would listen in quiet amazement as visitors from faraway lands exchanged stories and tales with one another. As Mahn Singh grew older, he would dream of those distant lands across the seas and would repeat the stories he learned at court.

Thousands of miles across the oceans, England had a new queen. Elizabeth the First, daughter of Henry the Eighth, was a shrewd and powerful monarch. She was constantly at war with Spain, which was then ruled by Philip the Second. In an all out effort to conquer England, Philip the Second dispatched the Spanish Armada. The defeat of the Armada did not prevent the Spanish from trying to colonize parts of South America and the islands of the Caribbean.

On one of the Spanish expeditions led by Don Pedro da Silva, a young sailor named Juan Martinez was watching an approaching storm. Great was the fury of that storm and when it abated the entire crew, save one, was no more. All but Juan Martinez perished. He barely survived by clinging to a piece of floating wreckage. Days passed under the hot, tropic sun until, finally, delirious and dehydrated, he drifted to land and was rescued by a strange band of warriors. He had drifted into the estuary of that mysterious South American river called the Orinoco.

Where has all the time gone

We live in a busy society. We may have demanding jobs, children, families and many other “important” things that hoover up all of our time, and before we know it, Christmas is looming once more and we’re muttering about another year just passing us by.

How many times do you say, “I’ll read that book later when I have more time” or “I’ll finish listening to that audio program when I have more time” or something very similar?

You may want to create the life of your dreams, but it just seems so very difficult with so many other things that just have to be dealt with. You may not have the time to spend an hour a day meditating and an hour a day working on your personal development and an hour a day working on your business. In fact, for some of us, we’re lucky if we can even find time to sleep!

However, the key is not the spend time “doing” personal development work, but to just do it!

This means live it; make it a part of your life; something that you do every moment of every day in everything that you do with everyone that you meet.

You can sit on the bus or train to work, close your eyes and work on releasing emotional blocks. You can become aware of what people are reflecting back to you about yourself in your conversations and interactions. Being aware of your problems brings you much closer to changing them.

You may want to find more time to listen to audio programs or some of my hypnosis CD’s. My hypnosis CD’s you can put on when you go to bed to listen to. You don’t need to use headphones to listen to them, nor do you have to be awake. The subliminal versions can be listened to anytime, even when you are working and doing other things; so you can still get the benefit of the programs.

For spoken word programs, what about listening to them on your commute to work? Or if you spend your evening sat in front of the television, turn it off and put one of these programs on instead.

Look at how you are using your time. How much of what you are doing is constructive and something you absolutely must do right now? Are there times you are not doing constructive things? Could you combine activities, for example, watch the television whilst doing something else working towards your future?

Everyone promotes their own time management system. Have a look at a few of them, try them and find something that works for you. This could even be a combination of different systems. It doesn’t matter so long as it saves you times, keeps your organised and helps you to get things done.

At the end of the day, you need to decide what is most important in your life.

Is it more important to do the ironing right now and make sure you don’t miss the latest episode of your soap opera?

Or is it more important to sit down and spend some time planning and working towards creating the life of your dreams?

Working on changing your life can appear to be very daunting, particularly if you are not in the best of places to start with. You look at everything that you want to change and want to deal with and wonder where on earth you are going to start.

In these cases it is best to “chunk” down the tasks and the goals you have in mind. This means break the big goal into smaller chunks, or take baby steps. Take it one step at a time, and before you know it, you will be where you want to be.

How many people get to their old age and say, “I wish I had spent more time at work” or ironing, or watching soap operas, or …

So what can you do to find more time

Look at what activities you are engaged in and decide which you can cut out for the sake of creating the future of your dreams Combine some activities so you are doing more than one thing at a time

Focus on what is important to you. Is half hour in front of a soap opera more important than a half hour working towards your future?

Prioritise creating the life of your dreams

Right now, stop saying, “I’ll start tomorrow” or “I’ll sort that out when I have time” or “I’ll deal with that later”. It’s never going to happen; never going to work. Just do it and make it happen right now.

The perfect situation for change will never happen. You will always find distractions, excuses and reasons not to make the changes or take the action. You can spend many miserable years waiting for that perfect situation and you know what? There’s never going to be a perfect situation, only the now.

As the advert for the trainers say, “Just do it”. That’s what you need to do too. Stop planning, putting off and thinking you’ll do something when you have more time. Just do it today

“We are all born with the same amount of time. Nobody will ever get any more than 24 hours in a day; nobody will get more than 365 days in a year. It’s your choice whether you will use this time to create an amazing life or fritter it away uselessly. It is this choice that makes the achievers stand head and shoulders above everyone else. What’s your choice? Jason E. Johns

“Plan your work for today and every day, then work your plan” Margaret Thatcher

“Look to this day … for yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision. But today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope.” Sanskrit

The secret - when you can walk on water take the boat part 55

Looking at God, I said, “Lord, I’m so happy to be here. When I return home, I’ll spend my life building a temple where we can worship and praise you.”

“That’s very kind of you,” He said, “but whatever gave you the idea that I dwell in temples or that I want to be worshipped and praised? Look, I really get bored with this praise thing. Instead of building me a temple, why don’t you feed the hungry, help the poor, heal the sick and teach those who want to learn? Wouldn’t that be more useful than a temple?”

God continued, “I’ve invited a number of others to be our guests and to join in our celebration. Let me introduce some of them.” He stood up and pointed to various tables, calling names.“There is Abraham and over there are Moses and Annabelle. Next to them you can see Thomasand Krishna. And over on the other side Rama, Mohammed, Gautama and Jacob. To our right, under that oak tree are Jesus, Peter, Paul, Elizabeth the First, Joan of Arc, Gandhi and Mary of Magdala. Sitting with them are Martin Luther King, Confucius, Jennifer Thompson, Benjamin Franklin and Joseph Rigby. These are some of my children, my friends and helpers. After tea, you should go around and meet them.”

“How can they all be at the same party, Lord?” I asked,“I mean, Krishna and the Buddha conversing with Mohammed and Jesus? And who are Joseph, Jennifer and Annabelle?”

“They're all created in my image. Each is as important as the other. The famous names, you recognize. The other three, though not mentioned in history books, are still quite as dear to me. They were just simple folks, each one trying to fulfill his or her mission. This is a cooperative universe, not a competitive one, John. For someone to be richer, another doesn’t have to be poorer. For you to be healthy, no one has to be sick. There’s enough and more than enough for everyone. In the game of life, all can win and all can receive prizes.”

“This is important; I've got to try to remember it all. Is this a dream or will I forget when I wake up?”

“No, this isn’t a dream. And yes, you’ll forget some, but not all. The important parts will stay in your memory for the rest of your earth life. Tolerance, harmony and understanding, these are some of the important things. Learn to understand yourself and you’ll find it easier to understand everything else.

Combat jujitsu - what is the hottest martial arts trend today

Combat Jujitsu is one of the hottest trends in martial arts today. In fact, a lot of martial arts masters are creating a new and unique form of all martial arts known as combat martial arts. Learning combat Jujitsu can have a lot of benefits.

Jujitsu is a very skilled martial arts that uses a lot of different moves such as holds, mounting, grappling, takedowns, and a whole lot more. If you are persistent, determined and disciplined you can learn Combat Jujitsu and experience an entirely new level of personal development through it.

Jujitsu is an ancient martial art originating from the country of Japan, and was created in the 1500s. The ancient martial art of Jujitsu combines all of the grappling, holds, mounting, and takedown moves with relaxing and beneficial meditations.

Judo was actually developed from the ancient martial art of Jujitsu in the 1800s by a man named Jigoro Kano. Jigoro Kano took a variety of different techniques from other masters of Jujitsu and meshed them together into Judo. Kano called this form of Jujitsu and Judo “Kadokan Judo”. Kano soon found out that his dog's breakfast version of Jujitsu wasn’t as great as he thought it was. His students could not defeat the Jujitsu students in any of the competitions they engaged in. Kano knew it was time for a change, and he chose to add some more skills to his form of Judo – joint locking techniques, choking techniques and holds. One of Kano’s students eventually moved to the beautiful country of Brazil and brought his unique form of Jujitsu and Judo to the country with him. From there, the martial arts of Jujitsu and Judo spread throughout the world.

Combat Jujitsu takes the original Jujitsu and creates a martial arts that has a lot more combat involved, especially self-defense moves. Learning self-defense in any form of martial art is a great benefit. It can even save your life. It will give you the confidence you need to know that you can protect yourself and those around you. You do not need to be scared anymore. You will learn how to watch out for situations you need to get away from, how to escape an attacker trying to hurt you, feel more confident and self-reliant when you go out. Also, you can have a lot of fun learning combat Jujitsu while you are becoming a healthier person overall.

Practicing combat Jujitsu on a regular basis will help you in self-defense and meditation. You will also reduce your risks for many debilitating diseases. In an age of fast food, fast cars, no sleep, 500 channels and road rage, learning this martial art will have countless benefits!

How can the law of attraction help with stress

Countless people are leading a life where perpetual stress is a daily experience. There is much information available to help combat this problem. And rightly so, with all of the hours of having to work a full-time job, raising children, supporting a family, and keeping up with health, there is a lot to be stressed out about. On top of that, statistics show that more and more people are falling in to debt. Sadly, it seems that many people are living off credit cards to make their ends meet.

No wonder that the number of people who are suffering from depression has been on the increase as well.

The costs of living, utilities as well as the increase in added financial obligations, such as insurances, cell phones and high speed internet to mention just some has forced many people to take on more work. Competition for jobs and worries about downsizing and layoffs has been another stress factor.

These are some very stressing situations, and many people have fallen into depression and are stressed out. Although, this article is not meant to diagnose illnesses or recommend health treatments, it seems that there is a growing trend for doctors to prescribe anti-depressants to people who suffer from stress and depression.

Maybe you are stressed and are seeking an alternative way to help relieve yourself of stress and depression. One way to help is knowing and understanding the law of attraction.

The Law of Attraction can help to alleviate stress and stress related illnesses. There has been a renewed awareness of the power of healing from within. It has been long documented by many physicians and other experienced healthcare personal that continued stress can lead to a heap of other serious health problems both physically and mentally.

The law of attraction, simply put states that like attracts like. It means that how you predominately feel, and what you predominately think and focus on, you attract. We all have our ups and downs, and sometimes it’s impossible to always feel good. But again, it’s your predominant mental attitude that causes things to appear in your life.

The above definition of the law of attraction is a simple one, and there is much more to knowing and mastering the law of attraction. In my opinion, you can never fully and completely know all there is to know about the law of attraction, but you can begin to look for excuses to feel better. Even if it is just for a second, can you find something to be thankful for or feel better about than how you have been feeling? The more you do this, the more you begin to see a shift inside yourself. It starts to become a habit. And habits start to become routine and before you know it, you are automatically beginning to feel better and better.

This law of attraction has been a sort of a secret for centuries. The secret of the ancients has now become the new awakening! Literally millions of people have already put this knowledge into good use for themselves. You too can use this marvelous knowledge and make it work for you. There are many ways you can use the law of attraction to help heal from anxiety, stress and depression.

Stress and all the related problems that can come with it will become an ordeal of your past. You do not have to be a victim of stress and anxiety any longer!

Spirituality information - john harricharan s interview with yanik silver q2

Yanik Silver: Thank you. Well, you just said something before that that I thought is interesting and, you know, we should talk on. And you said that we are meant to be healthy. And I will assume that the same way you said we are meant to be healthy, that we are meant to be rich and we are meant to be happy, Why are people and how do we get back to this natural state of where we are meant to be?

John Harricharan: Okay. Yes, that's how we were born. We were born. We came here with certain agreements, because I do not believe we just popped up in this earth. And there are a whole bunch of my friends and people who think of it this way. Take for example, you and I have talked about Richard Bach, the author of Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

Yanik Silver: Right.

John Harricharan: I have told you about Brad Steiger, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Deepak, many of us, who feel that we have lived forever, if you will. In fact, within each and every one of us is this feeling like the Poet says, 'A certain murmur in the soul tells of a world to be'. As travelers hear the billows roll before they reach the sea.'

So if we sit back quietly and listen, we will feel things from other times and other places, and it's totally, totally against my thinking that let's assume this has nothing to do with God or whichever one there is who -- like a worship or a lack God or anything, it just has to do with a kind of a feeling within ourselves that if there is a God and I do believe there is a higher power, then this God has got to be really nuts…if he or she is perfect to create things that are defective, for goodness' sakes, if I were to go to buy a DVD player and it's defective, I'd return it. So it came to me at a very early age and from listening to some of the masters of the Far East talk, some of the Yogi masters, I thought no, we were not born defective. We were born with all the potential we could ever want or have, and that we may have existed before, which some people call past lives, I call alternate existences and so forth. It doesn't matter what name we give to it. And so we may have agreed to come here.

For example, let us say that I and a bunch of us are traveling through the universe, no body, no physical body, but just a beautiful little points of light, if you will, a spirit that you can't see. But we're totally conscious. And we are passing by and one of us says to the other, "Hey, let's stop by earth. There it is, way in the distance. It looks blue. Let's stop by earth and see what they are up to today or these days. And it's 21st century or 20th century.”

And we get here and we start looking at them or we somehow maybe we can help them do some little thing. I have done all these other things. And so it is somewhat like a Star Track episode. And we are born into this world with agreements where we agree that okay, I'll be born without a leg. I will be born to a family that is going to abuse me. But during that period, I will grow and become something very special.

Who knows that Wayne Dyer, for example, was an orphan. He was in foster homes for a long time. There are so many other who were blind or deaf. They chose these things except you don't remember when you get caught up on the earth life that you did choose it. And yet some of us say, especially me, I say that contract we signed before we came here, at the bottom of it, it says “Subject to change for any reason at anytime without any penalties.” So we can quit the game anytime we want, which means if we are perfect to start with and religions, many of them teaches that we’re not -- we are a kind of a clod of clay.

And now, we’ve got a start becoming something in the potter’s hand. And some of us think that, "No, we are perfect to start with almost like the David’s statue in the stone. It’s there all the time. And all we’ve got to do is create the way, learn, grow and use the tools we have. So that that beautiful statue of David will come out or so that that beautiful part within us will come out."

Therefore, I do not believe that disease is a natural thing for a human being. I think we are hypnotized by advertisements, by all the kinds of things we see around us, by fear, by medicine, by everything else. Who was that I was talking with and he wrote it in his book - Deepak Chopra. Deepak and I go back many, many years, to a time when people thought that that Deepak was probably a rare Chinese disease. And Deepak and I were talking about ageing and growing old and dying.

And he quoted a Greek, who said, "People grow old and die because they see other people getting old and dying." And so it is where there is a kind of a joint energy is formed, where we are influenced by the energy around us, and we in turn influence that energy. So in our natural state, we should be healthy.

Let’s take Abraham or Moses or all the way down through Jesus into any of the other ones. Jesus saying to his mom, "Hey mom, I got to go to the drugs store, because I need some Aspirins or Abraham saying, "You know, Send out the camel boy to get me something because I’m not feeling too well." I think many of these people were able to transcend the need for that by doing a number of very interesting things.

Number one, stilling the conversations in their minds, the longest conversation that keeps going on from the day we were born is the one we have with ourselves…

Yanik Silver: Right

John Harricharan: …Where we’re talking to ourselves every moment. So, if we can still that conversation and get into a point where we are almost in non-thinking mold, we will find that the universe will send us all the solutions we want. And then its up to us to do something with it.

Do animals use the law of attraction

There is truly a great array of wonderful and interesting animals on our planet. Many animals have abilities we as humans do not have. From the tiny humming bird to the largest mammals, there is a lot to learn for us. All of these remarkable species of animals are sharing the same planet with us. We are living in the same home with them so to speak.

We know that the whole universe is moving and living by the natural laws of the universe. So here is the question, do animals use the law of attraction?

All of us have heard many stories of dogs for example who found their way back home over hundreds of miles. The same is said of cats. How are these loving pets able to find back home.

For many years we have called this ability in these animals instinct. What is instinct? Could instinct be really the law of attraction?

When observing migrating birds we are surely amazed at the ability of even the smallest migrating birds to find their homes back thousands and thousands of miles with such an accuracy.

Many have wondered about such admiring abilities. We know that everything in this universe moves and lives by the law of attraction.

It may just be more than instinct in animals that enables them to do great things. It no doubt all has to do with the universal laws. The law of attraction works well for human being, could it be at the root why animals do such amazing things?

Have you ever wondered about why bats can live their whole life without seeing so well?

We know that they use sonar. Maybe too they have learned to harness the power of the law of attraction.

How do the salmons find their way to the same breeding grounds for thousands of years? Is it simply “instinct?” Is there not more to it?

You no doubt want to learn more about the law of attraction and how it works. Did you know that even many of the ancient cultures knew about the power of the law of attraction?

This knowledge is not only fascinating but with this knowledge you can make some big changes in your life.

When you meditate and learn about the mind puzzling abilities of even the smallest creatures on this planet it makes you wonder. How well do you think all these creatures may use the law of attraction?

What do you think: Is it instinct or could it be the great power of the law of attraction?

Crush this economy - spirituality information

Economy I understand not,

Nor the GDP all short,

Figures they are for the intellect,

What use it that for the poor to recollect.......

Economy stinks... Economy has failed miserably...History stands witness... There are very few people who have bid goodbye to this world with a smiling face... The wrinkles and scars of the stupid economy are visible in every face. Economy gives a job to someone, makes a company rich and fills the coffers of the Government but it leaves most of the people spiritually poor....Economy is nothing but cashing in on your lowest desires and stripping you of your inner powers.

Economy has to make a country rich while it has not... It has made only 5% individuals wealthy.... The remaining 95% of the population have to work for money. There is a huge difference between making money work for you and you going after money. Wealthy people make money work for them and the rest have to go to job everyday to earn money. There is nothing wrong in going for a job but a flourishing economy has to facilitate richness of thoughts... It has to make you spiritually rich... It has to make you content , feel worthy of whatever you are doing. 95% of the population who earn money maybe happy but they are not content. There is a lack of self worth in individuals, a seemingly visible helplessness which is apparent in the way they talk, act and go about doing their daily chores. This economy of the world has never worked and will never again in the near future.

The basis of the economy all over the world is to provide you the basic comforts a job, a house , a car, a mobile phone, insurance and the list goes on ... It attempts to tell you that we can make you rich but it forces you to wear the garb of a beggar ... It gives you comfort toys but it clips your hands and steals away your freedom... It keeps inventing new gadgets of comforts and throws it at you and you like a beggar pick it up because it is attractive and that is all you can do... You are a beggar and I am a bigger one than you..... because i did it all through my life.. I failed to understand the difference between a beggar begging on the street, a prostitute mortgaging her body and a executive trading his/her intelligence. To me they are nothing but different levels of begging. One is lending her body the other the mind... But there is something far greater than all this which we never touched upon, which we as individuals never thought about,... an area within us where there is no trading, no give and take, where everythingl happens effortlessly and you do not force anything upon you ...... This area is called the Economy of love....

The reason i am so excited about this economy of love is because it is totally driven by you and the external factors cannot overpower it. The economy of love holds you completely accountable for your actions. It attempts to build individual economies based on the richness of your mind and nothing else. It's sole objective is to perfect the greatest tool called the mind and make it so rich, so full of energy, so full of ideas that it eventually enables an individual to get everything that he or she truly wants . It bases it's philosophy on this powerful quote from Swami Vivekananda " Isn't it man that makes money. Where did you ever hear of money making man? If you can make your thoughts and words perfectly at one, if you can I say, make yourself one in speech and actions money will pour in at your feet like water..."

When a billion people endeavor to do build this individual economy a new world will be created. The world which exists in your mind is a million times more stronger, more beautiful than the external world. It is this mind that you have total control over and I encourage you to dominate it and build an economy which will serve as a benchmark for all other minds....

Stop talking about the economy of the world of which you have zero control and start building upon the economy of Love within. There are some who have to sow the seeds and there are others who enjoy its fruits. Your role is to sow the seeds of the economy of love so that couple of decades later your children, your well wishers, and all those beings who travel in this kingdom of God salute you for your commendable vision.

We don't want a billion hands to hold a stupid mobile phone. We want them to crush this dry economy given to us by our forefathers and embrace the force of God within. Economy of love is individualistic and hence accountable . Economy of the world is all about intellectual figures and makes very little sense for the common man. I chose economy of love over the economy of the world.... I care a damn of the economy of the world because the inner force within me never understood those sane figures....

How to release the pain caused by others

What's the best gift you can give yourself at any time of the year?

How about overcoming the pain caused by someone you loved and trusted?

What happens when you've been wronged by another and you want to move on? How do you let it go - get on with your life - and make sure it doesn't happen again?

The short answer is that you forgive yourself for attracting them into your life - so you don't have to continue to carry the burden around and so that you don't repeat the same experience with another person.

You forgive yourself for ALLOWING it to happen - not for causing it to happen.

Right now you may be in some sort of a mental prison. There may be a lot of resentment and other similar feelings. And what you're feeling now - the bitterness, the resentment, the anger, the hurt; WILL influence your future relationships.

Bitterness only leads to more bitterness. Hurt leads to more hurt.

Forgiveness is a way to clear out those old feelings from the past so you will be better able to believe in yourself and trust yourself. Not to mention you'll be wiser and more perceptive.

But are you responsible for what they did?

No, absolutely not. You don't forgive yourself to make them 'not guilty'. You created your reality and they created theirs.

And the realities overlapped.

A cheater is basically that way before you meet them.

A betrayer is a betrayer before they come into your life.

The question is - why did I attract someone like this into my life?

Of course you didn't KNOW they would cheat or betray you when you first met them. But then, maybe there were little hints and clues you ignored. I don't know.

The point is, you CHOSE to allow them into your life. You allowed it to happen.

That 'allowing' is your responsibility; something you can forgive yourself for.

The value of forgiving yourself is -

first of all, it's empowering to accept responsibility for YOUR contribution. Yes, I understand you were wronged. They engaged in hurtful behavior that was unjustified.

By forgiving yourself, you don't say their behavior was acceptable. On some level, they must 'pay' for what they did. But that's not your business. (I understand many try to make it their business!)

But you would be much more productive by dealing with YOUR contribution to these events. And not worrying about their contribution.

"They'll get theirs."

But look at the damage it does to YOU by not forgiving yourself.

Maybe you don't believe in yourself anymore.

Maybe you don't trust yourself to make good decisions.

Maybe your self-confidence is lacking.

Maybe you're carrying around a ton of pain.

And I would guess many other problems as well have come up because you've been wronged.

Forgiving yourself can heal the damage they caused.

Also, you don't let someone 'off the hook' by forgiving yourself for what they did.

YOU LET *YOU* OFF THE HOOK BY FORGIVING YOURSELF.

Sorry to shout, but I want to make that point clear. By forgiving yourself, you empower yourself. You free yourself from your own private prison of pain.

Forgiveness is a strength; it empowers you.

By not forgiving yourself, you are not honoring or respecting yourself. You're saying you don't matter.

Forgiveness creates freedom. Forgiveness is liberating. Forgiveness is a positive, pro-active decision. It's a deliberate choice from a position of power and responsibility.

It's an act of character and integrity. It takes courage. I admit it's not easy to be kicked by someone and then forgive YOURSELF for being kicked. Because, "It's not me - I didn't do this! It's THEM!! They're the bad ones!"

But finding your own contribution to being kicked is like finding a foothold to greater power and greater strength. You will become 'more' if you forgive yourself for being wronged.

It takes enormous courage to let go of the blame. So often we seek our strength in blame. We anchor to it. And the thing is, we really are justified to blame!

We really WERE wronged. Nobody would deny that. It's obvious.

But what I'm saying is to go beyond the obvious. If blame really did solve problems, what a wonderful world this would be!

But blame doesn't solve problems. In fact, it locks those problems in place.

The trap is, you really are justified in blaming. But if you do, it keeps those painful feelings in place. You can't grow and stretch and reach for more in life when you're blaming.

It's like putting your feelings in the freezer. And then you have to tote that freezer around with you every where you go.

Blame is like being seduced by a beautiful woman with a hidden agenda. You think she really does like you when all she wants is your money.

If you know her game, you can easily resist. If you turn a blind eye, you'll get taken.

You think blame is your friend, but really all it wants is your power. You must give up your power to blame.

I know it doesn't seem that way, because we always get a cheap hit of power when we blame. But it never lasts.

It's like spending on credit. There's no problem until the payment comes due!

But to me, the biggest benefit of forgiving myself for being wronged by another is that it helps to ensure that it doesn't happen again. "I've suffered enough. I don't want to go through the same situation again."

But if I don't forgive, then most likely I WILL repeat the same mistakes again. Or else, I'll try not to love anyone else for the rest of my life. Which is almost impossible.

More likely, since I haven't explored the reasons WHY I created a hurtful person into my life, I'll create another hurtful person into my life.

Then I'll have to go through the same pain again.

Just thinking about that is depressing!

You want to live a better life, not repeat the pain of the past.

Forgiveness helps to make things better. So next time, you'll have a better chance of finding someone who'll treat you with respect.

Because you respected yourself enough to forgive YOURSELF for what THEY did.

You forgave yourself for YOUR contribution; because you played a part in what happened.

You are not a spectator in your life.

You're not a helpless victim.

You created what happened.

Not by causing, but by allowing.

You allowed another to hurt you.

Now, you will turn it into something good by changing yourself.

And the way to change is by recognizing what happened, feeling the impact of what happened, and forgiving yourself for why you let it happen in your life.

And later, if you choose to forgive them as well, that's great. But always forgive yourself first - as an acknowledgement to yourself that YOU are in charge of your life - not them.

Why didn't they go ruin someone else's life instead of trying to ruin yours? You may never know.

But the fact is, you let them in, they betrayed you, and now you're left to pick up the pieces.

Okay, you will.

You'll be a winner. You'll take their sucker punch to your gut, and you'll become a better person. Not a bitter, beaten loser. You'll take the pain they tried to dump on you and use it to become strong and powerful.

You'll find the good in their act of wrongness.

While they will in all likelihood continue to be a punishing person.

Maybe someday you'll forgive them for their misdeeds, but for now you're ready to grow and heal and move on.

Remember the old saying -

Living Well Is The Best Revenge!

Forgiveness can be that first step to living well.

Transforming fear

Anything that is built on fear is like it is built on sand.

In our world today, it is extremely important to release and transform fear! When there is so much fear around us, you may ask yourself what is the importance of this and how to do this?

The importance of changing fear into trust changes the way we see our life and how we live it.

When we live in fear we react out of fear and everything becomes limited. The shallow, tight feeling of fear affects the way we breathe and even our immune systems. When our immune systems are depleted we invite physical challenges. Our limited thoughts color the way we imagine our lives. For example do you see the glass half empty or half full? Our thoughts draw to us exactly what we are most afraid of so that is why this work is so important. The first step to transforming our fears is to identify them.

Identify one of your fears.

Begin doing this by intuitively checking into your life like you would swing a pendulum. If you swing into a part of your life and you feel resistance, you most likely are making a decision out of fear. If you then again try to swing into the same situation and the swing makes your heart feel open, there is trust. If you find a place where fear is a foundation, you need to let that go, because anything that is built on fear is like it is built on sand. It really won’t stand firm in the newness. Be willing to change the fearfulness into trust and limitlessness.

Embrace your fear.

One way to begin transforming your fear is to sit quietly and visualize that fear and bring it close to you. Whether this is a belief in your relationships, career, or health, remember it is part of you and is like an old friend. A good way to release that fear is to sit quietly and imagine you by the sea. Bring in either a whale or dolphin to assist you in your relaxation. Let the fearfulness be released using the whales and the dolphins. Use their energy to exchange your fear patterns. This is their greatest gift for you and to you. They will exchange your fear patterns quite joyfully, playfully. You don’t need to give your fear patterns to them, but you can bring the fear patterns to them for exchange: release them into the sea and be filled with their (the dolphins’ and the whales’) joyfulness, their limitlessness, and their fearlessness. And you will see so clearly how it all works because they have it to give.

That is their purpose—to give — and more and more of you will be drawn to their hearts because you are ready at last to give up what has really never been yours. You have worn old fear from who knows when and how, and it really doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you no longer wear the fear, because it is like old clothes that no longer fit you. If they were never yours, they don’t belong to you and don’t suit you.

Let go of things that no longer suit you until you are more and more free and clear to play in the wind and the sand and the sun—until you are more and more free inside yourselves to just be who you are.

Be not afraid, for those who have filled you with limited fearful thoughts are around you in your everyday lives. As you know, you can always go out and find fear whenever you ask. If you ask around long enough, you will find an answer that is filled with fear, and then you won’t take your next step.

Remember, without fear everything is available to you.

Stay firm in your commitment to joyfulness, and you will see things change around you that have never changed prior to this. You will see—as you begin experiencing the end of old beliefs, resolution of old conflicts, the tearing down of old structures where there is any foundation of fear—they will be replaced in the essence of the new.

As you change within yourself, you will help to change your world. Continue to clear and love yourself, and you will feel the depth of your world shift.

When you find yourself with the feeling of ultimate resistance or fear, bless that polarity, for that is given to you so you can work upon something inside yourself that can be changed and shift your outer world. Take that fear, that polarity, those relationships, and place it (them) on a Bridge of Light. You can do this with any part of your life to receive support where there is resolution needed.

Remember joy is your choice-choose it!

What does it mean -- saturn return

You’ve heard about Saturn Return. What is it exactly? It’s a time to prepare for, that’s for sure. Saturn returns every 29.5 years, so this will happen to you between the ages of 28 and 30, again at 58-60, and again at 88-90.

It’s not often we get to see a third Saturn Return, but Picasso lived to have one. It is at this time that he invented neo-expressionism.

Got an idea now of what can happen?

Lt. Col. Thomas E. Lawrence, a British soldier, was sent to investigate the Arab nationalist movement at his first Saturn Return. You probably know him best as Lawrence of Arabia.

Saturn teaches us the big lessons – what we can live with and what we cannot live with, what works for us and what doesn’t, in a sense what we are meant to do with and in our lives.

Many people make big changes at their Saturn Returns, so big their names and titles change. At their Saturn Returns, Eleanor of Aquitaine, the Queen of France became the Queen of England. Karol Wojtyla became Pope John Paul II. Lafitt Pincay stopped being a Panamanian jocket and became a U. S. jockey. Winston Churchill became a liberal. Phillipe Jaroussky stopped being a violinist and became a counter-tenor. At his first Saturn Return, Luciano Pavarotti became an international opera star. At his second, he stopped being Adua’s husband.

It’s about living out your Dharma, your higher self.

Saturn Return is the time the chickens come home to roost so to speak, in a good way or a bad way. Saturn Returns challenge us to get past old limitations, rules, responsibilities, unfulfilling behaviors, and particularly unconscious living through fear. It’s your chance at your free will. It doesn't HAPPEN to you, it more like you work it, or it works you. As Jung said, when you aren't conscious about things, it can seem like "fate."

Saturn Return is a hard time for individuals who have lived out of fear and immaturity, been irresponsible or are not mindful. If that’s the case, it can be so sorrowful and hard, the person does not live through it.

Getting a Saturn Reading in advance can help you round this corner, just as readings all along the way can help you see better what’s going on. A Spiritual Path or Higher Calling Reading can help you clarify what your purpose is – what you are here to do. The more you are in alignment on these two fronts – knowing your purpose, and then living it purposefully, the better your life is going to feel to you.

Here are a couple more example of Saturn Returns.

At his second Saturn Return, Richard Nixon, a Quaker, had achieved the withdrawal of the U. S. troops from Vietnam.

At her first Saturn Return, Marie Antoinette’s fate was sealed with the French people. The Diamond Necklace Affair occurred at this time. Most historians agreed it set the stage for her eventual beheading and that she was barely implicated, if at all. Marie Antoinette never did learn how to manage her own PR, to project herself correctly to the public, and she never reached her second Saturn Return. (If you saw the recent movie, it was played as if she were in a dream ...)

A man with a steady course in life, living his purpose, Karol Wojtyla became Pope John Paul II at the time of his second Saturn Return.

Peter the Great’s mission was to modernize Russia. To do this, he needed to get the church under his control. At his first Saturn Return he gained control of the church and its property and made the church a department of the state, subordinate to his will. Peter the Great did not live for his second Saturn Return.

Michael Vick is lurching toward an extremely difficult first Saturn Return. Who knows where he will be two years from now.

Got a Saturn Return coming up? Learn more about it, get a reading, prepare, find out what your chart says about your Spiritual Path. It’s another chance!

The often overlooked resource for healing - the internet

Having a health crisis can be a frightening experience. Whether you battle with cancer, depression, diabetes, pain, or another long-term condition at home or in a hospital facility, a feeling of isolation often accompanies these conditions. The result is decreased energy and, often, a lack of hope. Friends and family members who enjoy good health may not understand the particular emotional stresses you experience. The doctor pays keen attention to your medical care, but sharing your feelings and personal concerns is often not possible for lack of time.

Modern medicine well recognizes the importance of mental and emotional support in healing. For that matter, this is not a new insight. From ancient times, patients have benefited from a kindly word and the reassurance of being able to express their feelings and concerns.

Support groups such as AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) build upon peer support and show success where other approaches have often failed. The “Placebo Effect” is well known in medical circles, and it is based on HOPE and BELIEF. Endorphins have proven to be vital in the management of cholesterol, for instance, and endorphins are described as ‘feel good hormones’. In other words, a patient’s mental and emotional state is crucial to their success in healing.

However, outreach to peers can be difficult when one is bedridden or homebound. Close friends and family members come to visit, but their time is limited. Transportation to social events may not be readily accessible. Even attending a social event may cause more pain or embarrassment, and for someone who is depressed, the mere idea of going somewhere may seem insurmountable. Hours can creep by in loneliness and isolation.

The internet provides a wonderful tool to overcome these obstacles. Contact with peers is just a few clicks away. Someone with the same or a similar problem is always there. Time and space become irrelevant in a platform that spans many different time zones. Instead of lying awake at night, alone with thoughts and concerns, a patient can now logon to a forum where many give and receive comfort by sharing their concerns and hopes. There are even medical doctors online who can answer questions and give advice.

The anxiety of an upcoming medical procedure or test diminishes when someone else who already went through it shares the experience. Many useful tips come from patients who share the same conditions. From something as simple as “how do I use my new crutches?” to “what can I do to overcome my painful depression?” someone online has an answer or a suggestion.

Moreover, some things that one cannot begin to discuss with friends and family are easier to express in an anonymous environment. An internet based support forum protects privacy while still allowing an intimate sharing of thoughts and emotions. This breaks the isolation and loneliness and offers a place for communication.

Communication alleviates fear and brings hope, and hope elevates the body’s ability to overcome illness. This not only supports healing but also provides much needed social interaction and quality of life, even in illness.

Managing the stress in your life

While we often worry about stress, not all stress is bad. We need a certain amount of stress to make our lives interesting. And since there is no way to eliminate every commitment or deadline in our lives, we should try to control our stress levels in the best ways we can.

It would be nice if someone created a mathematical formula for stress that would measure how much stress an individual could take without become overwhelmed. Optimal stress levels vary from individual to individual, however, as well as from situation to situation. Some situations that would make you feel very stressful are considered fun and invigorating to someone else. People who love constant change in their lives would feel too much stress in a tedious, mundane job. You can see how different people’s definitions of stress may be. Scientists believe that many illnesses are directly related to stress. If you find that you are sick a lot of the time, or that you feel nervous often, you must develop effective strategies to cope with your stress level. Otherwise, you could be open to serious physical deterioration. Stress management is a practiced art, however. You will not relieve your stress in one day; you must keep at it and eventually, you will discover methods that work for you.

A first step is to learn what things make you stress out. While you may not be able to eliminate these things, you can work to make them more manageable. If cooking dinner causes stress, for instance, you may consider getting take-out food once a week to give yourself a break. If giving a presentation at work worries you, maybe you can learn to focus on just one section at a time and reduce your stress in that way. If commuting to work makes you stressful, leave a little earlier. It will become easier to address your overall stress if you discover the things that cause it and then try to limit their impact.

The next step is to try to reduce your emotional reactions to the things that stress you. You may find that these stressors make you think in a negative fashion, focusing only a situation’s worst aspects. Try, instead, to think of a stressor as a chance to improve your life. Try to see if you are overreacting to a situation. It may be that every stressor you encounter does not require an urgent response. Maybe you can take some time to study a situation before it bothers you. Think of yourself as in control – while you may not be able to do anything about the stressor itself, you can control how you feel about it.

Be sure to be aware of any physical reactions you have to stress. Deep-breathing techniques can help you decrease your heart rate, for example. If you have severe reactions, consult your doctor to determine if medication can help you. You can also reduce your stress levels by making your body stronger. Do aerobic activities three times per week, and make sure you eat nutritious foods. Avoid stimulants like sugar and coffee. And recognize that stress is a part of life. While it can’t be eliminated, you can develop coping strategies that will help when you feel overwhelmed.
